Location Guide

Hi! I am so excited to start planning your session! Here are a few of my favorite locations to suggest to clients. If you are more interested in doing an activity or an in-home session, I am down! A few fun activity sessions are mini-golf, arcades, museums, and coffee shops!

Kansas City

Loose Park

$25/hour

A Kansas City Classic. This is a large park in the center of the city with several backdrops. You can choose several backdrops in one location: the willow tree, the pond, the rose garden, or a little bit of everything.

Nelson Atkins

No photo fee

Big green lawn, giant columns, beautiful architecture. While photos inside the museum are not allowed, we are allowed to take them outside. The museum is the perfect setting for "classy" photos, while also being a staple for Kansas City.

Union Station

$25/hour

Union Station is another location for those wanting the beautiful architecture. There are many spots indoor and outdoors that are perfect for engagement sessions, even a bar that will occasionally let us sneak in for a few photos! Highly recommend going on a weekday to avoid crowds.

River Market

No Photo Fee

If you want the architecture of the city but don't want to go downtown, the River Market is a great alternative!

Stocksdale Park

Liberty | No photo fee

A large park in Liberty! There are plenty of beautiful spots to choose from at Stocksdale!

Smithville Lake

Smithville MO | No photo fee

A large lake that is just 30 minutes away from KC. There are several backdrops to choose from here. Grassy fields, beach, the lake, woods, or some beautiful rocks.
